About me
Angela Smith is a secondary math teacher, grade 8 team leader, and the co-chair of our professional recertification committee in MSAD 11. Angela is a passionate, committed teacher and colleague - connecting people to each other and community. In her first year as an instructional team leader, she has embodied the role and realized the power of collective efficacy through her strategic planning, facilitation, empowerment of her staff, and implementation of peer accountability practices. The professional culture of her team has transformed with positive student learning outcomes engagement increasing as noted by ongoing progress monitoring, student feedback, and assessment data.
