About me
Jessica Struhs is a consulting manager with Public Impact®, focusing primarily on assisting schools and districts with Opportunity Culture® design and implementation to extend the reach of excellent teachers and their teams. Her work supports districts as they create a career pathway and team roles for teachers, implement a rigorous and research-based selection process, and monitor progress throughout implementation. Before joining Public Impact, Struhs was a Fulbright Scholar and a science teacher. She went on to become a middle school math and science department chair, instructional coach, and manager of teacher leadership and development for Teach for America in Jefferson County, Florida. Struhs holds a master’s degree in education leadership and administration from Lehigh University’s Urban Principals Academy, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and education from Merrimack College.
