About me
Jonathan D. Moody is the Superintendent of Schools for MSAD 54 in central Maine and a respected educational leader with more than three decades of experience as a teacher, coach, principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. A graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington and the University of Maine, he is known for his collaborative leadership style, unwavering commitment to student success, and ability to build strong partnerships among schools, families, businesses, and community organizations. Under his leadership, MSAD 54 has expanded innovative educational opportunities, strengthened career and technical education pathways, and developed one of Maine's first public education models serving children from infancy through high school. In recognition of his vision, service, and dedication to public education, Moody was named Maine's 2024 Superintendent of the Year by the Maine School Superintendents Association.
